Volunteers and the Bridgend Centre

Without volunteers we would be unable to offer the breadth of services and events that we provide for the community. Our volunteers are the backbone of the Centre and we are immensely proud of their contributions to it. Due to our unique setup we have always been quite lucky in attracting people who want to offer their time to their community. However we are always looking for new enthusiastic volunteers to join the Bridgend family. If you are interested in helping out then please don't hesitate to get in touch, do it today.

 What opportunities are available?

We use volunteers in our Charity Shop, as back markers on our hill walks, as one-to-one tutors on computing, emailing and using the internet, to maintain our Nostalgia Trails and also to create all sorts of woodwork. Volunteers also lead many of the weekly activities such silk painting, yoga etc. However if you have a particular skill not listed here and want to offer us some of your time (however small) please get in touch. What makes the Bridgend Centre so unique and successful is the fact that we are always looking for new ways to be of service to our community. All ideas are welcome.
