The Bridgend Centre holds fundraising events throughout the year. These events help bring the community together for a good cause. We welcome ideas for fundraising so if you are able to offer your help please contact us.
The Bridgend Centre Events 2012
George Borowski Concert
George is once again bringing a group of musicians to play at Bridgend. The concert is on Friday 10th February at 8pm and a bar will be available. Tickets are £7.50 from Bridgend Centre and should be purchased as soon as possible as this is always a popular event.
Car Wash at Bollington Recreation Ground £2,50 per car. Refreshments available in the Pavillion. - Next Car wash is 15th February and every 2nd week afterwards.
Bridgend Walks
Please note the starting times for walks. The Centre will not be open to the public until 10.00am.
Easy Walks - Walks of about two miles are arranged in conjunction with Age UK. These take approximately one and a half to two hours and cover relatively easy ground. All start and finish at Bridgend and begin at 10.30am.
Moderate Walks - These walks will be led by either a Macclesfield Rangers or a guest walk leader. They are about three miles in length and take approximately two hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.15am.
Longer Walks - Led by staff from the Bridgend Centre. They are between 5 and 6 miles in length, cover some hilly terrain and take approximately two and a half hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.15am.
Please note that in the event of bad weather it is advisable to ring the Centre to confirm that the walk will take place.
