The Bridgend Centre holds fundraising events throughout the year. These events help bring the community together for a good cause. We welcome ideas for fundraising so if you are able to offer your help please contact us.

 The Bridgend Centre Events 2008

Car Wash Service at Recreation Ground on Wednesdays between 10 am and 2.30pm. Minimum donation per car £2. Refreshments available in the Pavillion. Weather permitting. See Home Page for dates.

Guided, Graded Walks

Cost for all walks is £2.00 per person. Refreshments are included after the walk.

Please make sure you have suitable footwear, clothing and a drink for the walks.

Easy Walks  - These are operated in conjunction with Age Concern. They are circular walks leaving Bridgend Centre at 10.30am and are approx.2 miles in length.

Dates - 12th November, 26th November and 10th December

Moderate Walks - These walks are led by Macclesfield Rangers. They are about three miles in length and take approximately two hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.30am.

Dates - 19th November and 17th December

Longer Walks - Led by staff from the Bridgend Centre. They are between 5 and 6 miles in length, cover some hilly terrain and take approximately two and a half hours. All start and finish at Bridgend Centre and begin at 10.00am.

Dates - 5th November,  Across the Fields to Higher Hurdsfield                                                                 

              3rd December, Christmas Ramble along the Ridge                               

Craft Stall at Bollington Arts Centre, 1st November , 11am-4pm - Bridgend will be selling souvenirs and craft items at the Arts Centre Fair to raise funds for next year's Bollington Festival.
