What we do...

At the Bridgend Centre we are very proud of our Charity Shop and what it represents for our community. Our Charity Shop enables people to recycle items such as clothes, toys etc. whilst also helping the Centre to use the money raised from their sale to help fund our community support. We try to recycle as much as possible, sending unsold or unsuitable clothes, shoes and bedding to a rag man for use in Third World Countries or for shredding to make insulation. Any unsold toys and bric-a-brac are passed on to a scout group which operates in a deprived area. Income from jumble sales helps to fund the group and they often give the Centre a cash donation, so both groups benefit. `We welcome volunteers to help in the charity Shop.

What do we sell?

We sell books, good quality ladies, gents and children's clothing, bedding, curtains, children's toys, small furniture items, jewellery, hand bags, shoes, DVDs, books and many other similar items. If you would like to donate any of these items or indeed items that are not on this list but you think we would be able to sell them then please bring them to the Bridgend Centre. We regret that we cannot accept electrical items, magazines or large items of furniture.
